Claymation ECA in Primary

Pupils in the Penguin Class in Grade 3 and Walrus Class in Grade 4 have been enjoying making their own movies during Claymation ECA. Claymation is a style of animation in which clay figures are manipulated using stop-motion animation. 



Before using clay, we first practiced manipulating inanimate objects such as pencils, rulers, and scissors using stop-motion animation. Stop-motion animation is a filmmaking technique in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames so that they will appear to exhibit independent motion.
