Pupils in Grades 3 and 4 have been enjoying Coding Club this term using the website www.crunchzilla.com/code-monster.
The site leads the children through a range of activities using JavaScript, a special computer language. The children are able to change elements of the code on their screens and see the effect these changes make to the shapes, size, colour and speed.
Coding is a fun and effective way to teach children a range of important life skills including: computer literacy, problem solving, creativity, logic, perseverance, maths and lateral thinking.
The children at Wycombe Abbey School have certainly been displaying these skills over the past few weeks of Coding Club!
