Kindergarten Transition Day

On Tuesday 7th July 2020 our KG3 children had their transition morning into Primary school. We had lots of smiles and excited children all day and they especially loved the treats at the end.

Throughout the day the children wrote letters to their new teachers and decorated them to share their interests.

During the day the children took part in a treasure hunt around the school. They had some clues they had to decode to find the answers which then led them to another section of the school to explore. The children began in the library and went to explore the classrooms, dome, Grand stand, main entrance and even had a chance to play in the primary playground. They then meet with some teachers in the primary offices where they had a fruit snack and drink and the opportunity to ask any questions they had.

The children all had smiles on their faces and wanted to do the treasure hunt again on Wednesday, but they went home with a golden sticker and a chocolate treat.

Well done to all the children involved in the transition. It is great to see them progressing throughout their education at Wycombe Abbey School and we are excited for their first day in Grade 1.
