Primary Christmas Performance 2020

On Friday 4th December, all pupils at WASCZ Primary had the opportunity to put the weeks and weeks of practice of all their songs, dance moves, and instrumental practice to good use as they performed a fantastic medley of songs as part of the Christmas Performance 2020.

Every single pupil in the Primary School were involved in at least one Christmas song, with many involved in multiple songs or as part of the Primary Music Ensemble which began the afternoon’s music, with a beautiful rendition of the classical Christmas song, "Silent Night".

Over the course of the afternoon, each grade sang different Christmas songs, with many supported by different secondary music quartets, including strings, brass and saxophones. As well as supporting different choirs, there was also a range of interlude music played between sets, with Morris Xu and Apple Xu from the Narwhal Class in Grade 5 playing two memorable pieces. The two boys have become regular performers of late in school , becoming the first Primary pupils ever to be involved in the secondary school orchestra last week.

The final performers, the Primary Senior Choir, rounded things off with two superb performances of "Silver Bells" and "I am but a small voice", before the whole school sang "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" together.

A stunning afternoon of music from pupils across the school and everyone involved should be extremely proud of themselves. Merry Christmas to all from WASCZ Primary School!
