Recently in Grade 2 Chinese class, we have been working on improving pupils' reading, developing good reading habits, enriching pupils' campus life, and reproducing the charm of classic fairy tales. Therefore, we launched a story-telling competition in the Piranha and Crab classes.
The storytelling contest has begun!
Pupils created some wonderful fairy tales with brilliant content, vivid language, sincere feelings, and confident performances. The contestants used their simple words to create vivid and distinctive characters and images, and the wonderful narration brought the pupils into a wonderful realm.
After an extremely difficult selection process, by the teachers and judges in the class, the first, second and third prizes were selected.
The development of this activity created a good language atmosphere for the children and set up a stage to show themselves. Not only has it cultivated the children's habit of reading books, but also exercised their public speaking skills, and strengthened the children's courage and self-confidence.
