Kindergarten Sports Day 2021

All the children in Kindergarten took part in our annual sports day.

It was a fulfilled morning and they enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities.  This term, during our PE lessons, the children have been learning the skills needed to undertake the different activities.  They have been practicing throwing and catching, balancing, running, and experimenting with different equipment.

Throughout the morning each class took part in 9 different activities that were led by their class teachers, some of the events included a 30-meter running race, an obstacle course, bat and ball balance, hoop throwing and many more.

The children especially enjoyed the ‘three-legged race’ where they had to work as part of team to reach the finish line.   Even the teachers had a great time with this activity.

It was a noncompetitive morning, and all children were awarded with a certificate and a badge to take home and share.   Although it was a noncompetitive event, all children tried their very best and some even wanting more than one go at each activity.

All children enjoyed their morning and shared these special moments with their friends and teachers and especially loved the ice-cream treat at the end of Sports Day.
