Primary End of Year Performance

On Friday 25th June, Primary were excited to welcome back parents into the theatre to perform their class acts that formed part of this year’s theme “Past, Present and Future”.

Having practiced for a number of weeks, all children across Grades 1-5 sang, danced and acted in a variety of ways, some focusing on the past, such as the Tunafish interpretation of who discovered America or the Piranhas song and dance from the caveman movie “The across”. The Dragonfish class even took us back to the 1980s for a delve into the different fashion trends, music and major world events that took place.

Others focused on the present and how thankful they were for all the help they’ve received from their parents and teachers this year - the Polar Bears and Blue Whales both sang fantastic songs in tribute to their teachers and families.

Finally, some classes focused on all three periods of time - with the Lobsters introducing transport through the ages, with the Narwhal class talking about their past, present, and what the future holds for them at Wycombe Abbey.

A thoroughly enjoyable two hours for all in the theatre, and was a fantastic end to the summer term before the fun activities next week to end the year.

Well done to all involved!

We look forward to welcoming families back into school much more regularly in the new school year in September!
