Fun Day in Primary

On Saturday 18th September, ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Grades 1-5 enjoyed a fun filled day of activities in our Sports Dome and field.

With children coming to school dressed in their own clothes, firstly, our Grades 1-3 pupils enjoyed the sunshine outside, having fun on the bouncy castles, air hockey, basketball machines, and football target practice, whilst our Grades 4-5 pupils enjoyed a range of different sports in the dome, including hockey, football, netball and volleyball. Their session ended with a students v teachers football match, with the students overcoming the teacher 1-0!

For the second part of the morning, after an all-important refreshment break, the Grades 1-3 and Grades 4-5 groups swapped to the dome and field respectively to enjoy the facilities.

After then returning to classrooms and the theatre to watch the animated feature “The Gruffalo”, all the children enjoyed a “Teddy Bear’s Picnic” with their favourite teddy bears. With lunch finished, all children tucked into an ice cream, before finishing school at 1pm ahead of the Mid-Autumn Break.

A well-deserved long weekend was coming up and a chance to recharge the batteries after a busy first couple of weeks of school!
