Following the highly successful University Fair in May of the previous academic year, we have been honoured to host representatives from several preeminent universities at our school during this academic year. These include the University of Leeds, the University of Bristol, King's College, London, the University of the Arts, London, and the University of Manchester from September to November 2023. Each institution brought a wealth of information and opportunities for our students.

The highlight of each event were the presentations provided by each representative, during which each institution provided invaluable information regarding its academic programmes, campus life, and application procedures. These provided our students with unique opportunities to gain firsthand knowledge about the options available to them as they embark on their higher education journeys.

One of the most engaging aspects of the presentations this academic year were the Q&A sessions, where students had the chance to directly interact with the university representatives. These sessions allowed students to ask specific questions and receive personalised guidance, which is often a critical factor in making informed decisions about their future.

In addition to the group sessions, we were delighted to facilitate one-to-one meetings between some university representatives and our students. These intimate sessions allowed our students to delve deeper into their queries and receive tailored advice that can make all the difference when choosing the right university.

Artists at our school also had the opportunity to connect with the University of the Arts London (UAL) Shanghai Office during an online information session. This session gave our budding artists insights into the specialised programmes and resources available at UAL, setting them on a path to pursuing their creative passions at a world-renowned institution.

The success of our first university fair and these university talks were testaments to the collaborative spirit and dedication of the entire school community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the university representatives who made this event possible, as well as our dedicated staff and enthusiastic students who embraced the opportunity to explore their academic futures.

We are constantly seeking feedback and suggestions from both students and universities to ensure that we are providing the most relevant and useful resources.
