Wycombe Abbey International School pupil to play at top golf open

A Wycombe Abbey International School pupil has been selected to represent China to play against some of the top internationally ranked juniors at a tournament in New South Wales, Australia.

Luke Pan, 16, has been chosen to represent China in the HSBC National Final Championships, which will take place from the 11 – 13th November. Luke is a boarding pupil at Wycombe Abbey International School, in Changzhou and a member of Wycombe Abbey International School Golf Academy. He regularly represents the China national squad and is no stranger to playing internationally.

 The Deputy Headmaster, David Griffiths, said: “Luke deserves this opportunity, having finished fourth at the recent National competition. He has won a number of events and in joining Wycombe Abbey International School has balanced golf with his academic ambitions. He is an accomplished and talented golfer, and travels with our best wishes.”
