Maths Challenge Success 2015

School News March 03, 2015

Our Maths department is once again celebrating the success of our pupils in the Intermediate Mathematics Challenge (IMC). The IMC is organised by United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) from the University of Leeds. Each year over 200,000 pupils from over 4,000 schools take part. Pupils that take part in the competition can achieve certificates at three levels, Gold, Silver and Bronze.

All the pupils entered this year achieved certification at Gold, Silver and Bronze level, with one pupil Susan Huster (pictured right) being invited to compete at the Kangaroo follow up competition for the very best performers in the competition. A fantastic achievement – well done!
