School News November 13, 2018

In recent weeks the Great Britain Hockey Teams have used Wycombe Abbey school facilities during the global tournaments based in Changzhou. The management team came to see the school and meet Headmaster David Griffiths.

The Great Britain U23 side taught hockey lesson to Yr 7 and Yr 8. Demonstrating new skills and articulating the importance of teamwork our pupils enjoyed this wonderful opportunity.

This week the Full Great Britain side, who are the current Olympic champions, are using the school as a base. They will formally open the New Sports Dome with the Headmaster, Mr Griffiths.

Having the Olympic Champions in School has provided inspiration to our community. They are fantastic female role models, many of whom are balancing there sporting careers with studies or work commitments.
