Boarding System
A 24/7 Growth Experience
At WASCZ, the 24/7 schedule allows children countless opportunities to explore and study beyond the classroom.
The breadth and depth of campus life are greatly enhanced through our boarding education, which develops children’s independence, self-confidence and self-discipline. Teachers and students are a community, and the friendships they form here will be enriched and often last for their whole lives.
Three students share a room, which is equipped with air purification and a private bathroom. A professional logistics team ensures that students’ clothes are washed and replaced daily, and bed linens are changed weekly. Even if parents are not present, they can rest assured. Notably, the dean and mentors live on the same floor as the students. Doorbells are installed at teachers’ doors, enabling students to summon them at any time, 24/7, in case of emergencies.
This authentic collegiate boarding system carries forward a century-old tradition, roles, and experience through innovation. Students in the same dormitory are usually of similar age, while the overall college forms a vertically mixed-age ecosystem, integrating students from different grades. Within the college, a “big mentoring small” model is encouraged, promoting mutual assistance, while competitions between colleges foster a sense of belonging and cultivate a competitive spirit among students.
The students’ growth is presented to the teachers in a multi-dimensional manner. Teachers can observe not only the students’ academic performance and emotional well-being but also their unique talents. Whether in sports, arts, music, or drama, mentors often uncover hidden gifts that even the students themselves are unaware of, enabling personalized growth plans tailored to each child.
