Class of 2024, currently studying Natural Sciences at Cambridge University.
"The many rich and interesting experiences at WASCZ have naturally accompanied me through these six years, and there is no question of conflict or balance between academic and extracurricular activities. They were all an essential part of my life. And the teachers are very accommodating. Although they have a lot of things to do every day, they feel that students' emotions, feelings, and interpersonal relationships are the most important things, and will gently comfort me, guide me, and listen to me."

"In life, none of us are necessarily the better one and there will always be someone ahead of us. If we can look at the back of others to catch up and learn, then we will also subconsciously run. By finding a goal to catch up and learn from, not only can you get a good boost yourself, but you can also form great relationships with your classmates."

"I enjoyed science, but didn't particularly decide what direction I wanted to take. So the natural sciences offer a wider range of options, as the saying goes, 'learn Maths, Science and Chemistry and you can go anywhere'."

"In the beginning, I had no idea how to do a research project or how to write a paper. It was my tutor at WASCZ who guided me step by step on how to effectively cite information from the literature to serve the main idea of my thesis, and how an academic research paper needs more than just an introductory statement, experimental steps, and conclusions; it needs an abstract, an evaluation of the experimental process, and a comparison of methods."

Class of 2024,Currently studying Physics at the University of Edinburgh.
"The biggest thing I have learnt from coming to WASCZ is that I have discovered my passions and stuck to them well, such as music, chess and reading. 'Not what I used to be' means that when I first came to WASCZ I was actually lagging behind others in my studies, but through my subsequent hard work I have gained the achievements I have today. 'Self-reliance' means that I have learnt and explored more knowledge on my own."

"I joined WASCZ at the Pre-AY. I was very introverted at the time, and I didn't dare to join the class. The Pre-AY is a class specially created by WASCZ for the transition from institutional to international education. Our class was different from other classes, as we attended most of the classes together, so the cohesion of the class was surprisingly high. Until now, we still hang out together a lot."

"I would say to the underclassmen, do whatever you like to do. I went on a lot of internships over the summer and tried research projects like biogenetic engineering and farming bacteria. After you try it you realise that these things are fun."

Class of 2024,Currently studying Fashion Design at the University of the Arts London.
"My initiation into fashion design started with WASCZ. Some teachers here are graduates in fashion design, and after I told her about my dream, I communicated with her regularly. She sacrificed a lot of her personal time and helped me enthusiastically. For example, paneling, cutting, sewing, all these simple and basic things were taught to me by this teacher bit by bit."

"When I chose to transfer to WASCZ, it was because of the very strong music department over here, and the very good teachers who could lead me in that direction, and I got a lot of offers from good music colleges, as I had hoped."
