Our Teachers Play Many Roles
At WASCZ, our staff wear many hats. They are all exceptional subject teachers, and in many instances, they are passionate advocates of hobbies they share with our children. These multiple roles include taking children to watch the stars in the astronomy club, being passionate conductors in the symphony orchestra, being strong and inspiring expedition leaders in the Icelandic wilderness, as coaches sweating with the children on the football field, while also being a mentor and friend supporting them in the boarding houses.
Our international teachers at WASCZ have many years of experience in boarding schools, guiding our students with great knowledge and understanding.
At WASCZ, each student has a tutor responsible for guiding them in their academic, extra-curricular, and boarding life at the school. Living and working in the same community, our staff see the students in various settings outside the classroom, thereby discovering each child’s hidden talents and skills. This depth of understanding creates a strong foundation for truly holistic education that considers every aspect of a child’s growth and development. With respect, patience and love, they give each child appreciation, acknowledgement and care.
