New Zealand Rugby and Netball Tour
We are thrilled to announce that the recent Rugby and Netball tour of New Zealand, held from April 26th to May 5th, was a truly spectacular experience for our students! This sports-filled adventure not only showcased the best of New Zealand’s sporting culture but also provided unforgettable memories to cherish.
Throughout the tour, our group explored three vibrant cities – Rotorua, Hamilton, and Auckland, each offering a unique backdrop for sports and cultural immersion.
In the realm of Rugby, our boys had the privilege of visiting prestigious institutions like Rotorua Boys High School and Hamilton Boys High School. There, our students actively participated in thrilling matches and received expert training from professional coaches. The warm welcome received in traditional settings, complete with a powerful Haka performance by the schools’ top Rugby teams, left our students buzzing with excitement. The cultural exchange enriched their experience, encouraging them to push their limits and make the most out of this remarkable opportunity.
On the Netball front, our girls showcased their skills at Rotorua Girls High School and Hamilton Girls High School. Their competitive spirit shone during a challenging match against Rotorua Girls High School, where both teams displayed sportsmanship and valuable feedback exchange. The visit to Hamilton Girls High School provided our students with a warm welcome, setting the stage for a rewarding exchange of skills and experiences. Hamiton Girls provided coaching sessions provided by both coaches and student athletes. They provided an unreal experience for the students in which not only did it develop our student’s netball skills and passion but also developed lifelong friendships and memories that will be cherished forever.
The tour not only improved our students’ sporting abilities but also fostered a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and sportsmanship. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participating schools for their warm hospitality and enriching experiences shared with our students. We look forward to the continuation of International Trips of Sports on offer in the coming year.
