WASCZ is proud to announce our Xilingshi Scholarship 3-year-programme for students who will enter our Grade 10 in coming September.
Xilingshi Scholarship
At WASCZ, encourage all our students to aim high and exceed their own expectations. We support them in their individual gifts and talents and endeavour to help each one of them discover their passion and unlock their potential.
The goal of the Scholarship Programme is to support exceptionally talented students and challenge them to excel at the school and beyond.
Programme Introduction
The scholarship is for students who will enter WASCZ Grade 9 in February or Grade 10 in September this year.

- Mentoring by a member of the academic staff; regular meetings to set targets and monitor progress
- Invitations to external and internal lectures, debates, workshops, and events that cater for gifted students
- Regular meetings which provide intellectual challenge, research, debate, critical thought, and problem solving
- ‘stretch and challenge’ activities tailored to individual needs
- Several social events, including the annual Scholars’ Dinner
- A Scholars’ Tie or similar identification
How to Apply
Application
Please Submit all the Application Materials:
- Scholarship application form
- Academic transcripts for the past two years issued by the current school
- Certificates and evidence of abilities, including but not limited to: academic competition certificates, performance recordings, art portfolios, award certificates, etc.
Preliminary Interview
- Attend Preliminary Interview and Potential Assessment
Final Interview
- Undertake additional assessment (academic, performance, or artistic works)
- Participate in an interview conducted by experts.
