Diverse Sports Activities
From football, tennis, and badminton to rock climbing, swimming, volleyball, cricket, and golf, children will engage in a rich and diverse array of sports activities at the Multisport Course. “Diversity” stands as the core athletic philosophy of WAS. We firmly believe that fostering a passion for sports in children requires offering ample choices, allowing them to explore and find the “light” that resonates uniquely with each individual.
Molding Character Through Sports
Through various group training sessions, competitive matches, and culminating in a Camp Olympic at the end of the summer school, we aim to emphasise that sports education is, at its core, character education. The sports arena, filled with both competition and collaboration, serves as an ideal training ground for leadership, resilience, perseverance, a sense of responsibility, and a spirit of teamwork.
Sport Science and Health
Delve into the essentials of basal metabolic rate, BMI standards, cardiovascular fitness, core strength, major and minor muscle groups, red and white muscles, as well as acronyms like MIIT, HIIT, LSD, MAF. Our summer school curriculum seamlessly incorporates these fundamental fitness concepts and sports knowledge. The objective is to impart scientific understanding of exercise, instill healthy dietary habits, and equip children with strategies to prevent sports injuries. Through this holistic approach, our aim is to foster a love for lifelong physical activity and encourage a healthy lifestyle that will benefit them in the long run.
