The 2025 WAS Cultural Festival will be officially held from 18th to 20th April, and registration is now in its final countdown! This is the perfect moment for you to showcase your talents and unleash your creativity! Whether you have unique expertise in drama, music, or dance or excel in visual arts, solo performances, or digital composition, we welcome participants from all over the country. Bring your dreams and talents to join us in this vibrant, creative cultural and artistic celebration!
This year’s festival is set to be a grand affair, with a larger and more diverse lineup than ever before. In addition to the established drama, visual arts, music, and dance showcases, 2025 brings in exciting new elements such as competitive solo piano and guitar performances. The highly anticipated reintroduction of composition and digital composition will provide a platform for budding musical creators to present their original works, from classical to electronic music. A new full day dedicated to drama workshops will be an exciting innovation for 2025, covering a variety of theatrical techniques, including clowning, improvisation, and traditional New Zealand Maori Poi performance art, offering students a hands-on experience in forms of expression that push the boundaries of conventional theatre.
To celebrate the outstanding performances of students, the 2025 WAS Cultural Festival has established a variety of awards for talented individuals like you.

✨ Winners in individual or group categories will receive medals and trophies presented by WASCZ
✨ The individual or group with the highest total points will be rewarded with a 19,800 RMB discount for the 2025 WASCZ Summer School!

The 2025 WAS Cultural Festival will be supported by a distinguished team of professional judges. The panel includes internationally renowned professional artists from music, theatre, and visual arts, who will not only evaluate but also inspire and guide students with high-level feedback and guidance in their respective industries.

Maestro Fiore is a distinguished European composer renowned for his profound musical language and unique style, earning him recognition on the international music scene. His expertise spans symphonic music, opera, chamber music, and film scoring, showcasing a deep understanding of musical narrative and an innovative spirit. His works have been performed by prominent orchestras across Europe and South America, and he has collaborated with major musical institutions, expanding his global influence.
Fiore’s musical journey began at the Respighi Music Academy in Europe, followed by advanced studies in Rome and Kraków, Poland, under the mentorship of Oscar-winning composer Luis Bacalov. His rich academic background and deep appreciation for musical traditions allow his compositions to blend modernity with classical essence. As a composer, he has published numerous works with Milan’s prestigious music publisher, Casa Musicale Sonzogno, gaining international recognition. His style masterfully integrates European Romanticism with modern musical techniques, particularly excelling in combining profound emotional expression with intricate harmonic structures.
Through his compositions, Fiore continuously explores the vast possibilities of music, asserting his distinct artistic voice and securing his place in contemporary composition.

Carla studied guitar education at the Granada Conservatory of Music in Spain and furthered her studies under the renowned Maestro José Luis Merlin in Spain. During this time, she demonstrated exceptional musical talent and learning ability and developed an advanced understanding of international guitar teaching philosophies and methods.
With her extensive teaching experience and outstanding results, Carla was highly respected in the field of guitar education. Her students have repeatedly won top prizes in provincial and city-level guitar competitions. Combining her rich academic background with practical experience, Carla has designed a unique and effective teaching system that focuses on developing students’ musical perception and expressiveness. She guides students to deeply understand the musical language of the guitar, perfectly blending technique with emotion. This teaching philosophy not only helps students stand out in competitions but also empowers them to continue their journey in the world of guitar artistry.
