Fencing Team Triumphant
We are thrilled to share the latest highlights from the recent fencing competition that our students from the WAS Fencing Team participated in. The event took place at the Wujin District Experimental Primary School, jointly organised by the Education Bureau and Culture, Sports, Radio and Television Bureau, and Tourism Bureau.
We are pleased to announce the outstanding achievements of our young fencers at the competition:
J. Lu (G6, Elgar) earned the silver
T. Zhang (G6, Turner) took home the bronze
O. Xu (G5, Turner) placed fifth
K. Shang (G5, Turner) finished sixth
The team also performed admirably, earning third place.
A. Gu (G3, Turner) placed 20th
L. Yao (G2, Turner) finished 28th
The team achieved a commendable seventh place.
Our dedicated fencers have exhibited remarkable commitment to their training, showcasing courage, perseverance, and a diligent work ethic. Balancing their fencing pursuits with academic responsibilities, our students embody the values of dedication and excellence. We are immensely proud of their accomplishments and look forward to witnessing their continued growth and success in fencing.
