Our delegation has proudly returned from the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions 2025, held at the historic Yale University in the United States — and we are delighted to share outstanding results from this year’s competition.
Across debating, writing, and collaborative challenges, our students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, resilience, and intellectual curiosity. This year’s theme, “Reigniting the Future,” was brought to life through their performances and their thoughtful engagement with global issues.

These achievements reflect not only the scholars’ academic strength but also their ability to collaborate, think critically, and express themselves with confidence on a truly international stage.
Beyond the competition, this year’s trip offered an exceptional cultural and educational experience. Students visited MIT, Harvard, and several cultural and historical landmarks around Boston, gaining firsthand exposure to some of the world’s most inspiring centres of innovation and research. Walking through the corridors of MIT, experiencing the traditions of Harvard Yard, and absorbing the rich heritage of Boston broadened their understanding of excellence in education.
During the Tournament of Champions, students also explored Yale University, attending workshops, visiting libraries and lecture halls, and engaging with the vibrant campus environment. Many described the experience as “motivating,” “eye-opening,” and “a reminder to aim higher.”
This journey was more than a competition — it was an opportunity for our scholars to discover new ambitions, appreciate diverse perspectives, and envision themselves as future scholars, innovators, and leaders.
We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements and the exemplary manner in which they represented WASCZ. Their success reflects their hard work, the dedication of their teachers, and the strong support of our school community.
