Upon being awarded an academic scholarship at WASCZ, students are granted immediate membership in the Xilingshi-Lovelace Society as a means of acknowledging their exceptional academic achievements. By acknowledging this achievement, our intention is to motivate and foster a sense of determination and enthusiasm among all students at WASCZ, urging them to pursue academic success and wholeheartedly pursue their individual interests and aspirations.
This year, it brings us great pleasure to announce the conferment of scholarships to a total of nine distinguished students who successfully navigated their IGCSE examinations at WASCZ in the preceding academic year. These scholars showcased exemplary outcomes across a multitude of academic disciplines, sustaining a commendable overall performance throughout their assessment period.
In addition to the cohort that participated in last year’s examinations, we are thrilled to warmly welcome students who have recently joined us through the ‘International Scholarship’ programme in the United Kingdom. These newly enrolled scholars have earned their scholarships through exemplary performance in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examinations and interviews. Their impressive achievements bear testament to their dedication and industriousness, and we hold steadfast confidence in their continued academic excellence with us. Their presence promises to enrich our academic tapestry and contribute significantly to our collective endeavours as an institution.
