Spring breeze strokes the face, plants and trees sprout new buds, it is just the most beautiful time in the world; the youth is full of vigor, growing towards the sun, which is exactly the most touching part of youth. In this spring full of vitality and poetry, we gather together to welcome the campus Chinese Cultural Festival!
The spring sun shines brightly, orioles sing, and the Chinese cultural context is endless in the circulation of the four seasons; youth is like fire, shining brightly, and the demeanor of teenagers is dazzling in the tide of the times. On the morning of March 28, the Chinese Department organized the Chinese Cultural Festival with the theme of “Spring Flower Gathering, Youth Vigor Blooming”. The event was open to students from Grade 6 to Grade 9.
During the activity, we take spring as the preface and culture as the medium, seek the ancient charm in poems and songs, taste the ingenuity in traditional handcrafts, and show our wisdom in interesting challenges. Let us embrace traditional culture in spring, inherit the Chinese spirit in youth, and together start this lively and warm cultural feast!
The cultural festival kicked off with the students’ energetic singing. The lively and passionate songs are not only the expression of the students’ youthful mood, but also add a bright color to the cultural festival, leading all teachers and students into this wonderful cultural feast together.
During the event, excellent works created by students in the previous four weeks of courses were displayed, including traditional Chinese painting, paper-cutting, calligraphy, 3D landform clay works and so on. These works fully show the students’ understanding and inheritance of traditional culture, as well as their creativity and hands-on ability.
In addition, the event set up a variety of puzzle-based challenge games, covering poetry, language, history, law, geography and other fields. Through interesting game challenges, students can learn knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, broaden their horizons and deepen their understanding of traditional culture and related knowledge.
At the same time, a series of hands-on experience activities were arranged, such as making green rice balls, wormwood soap, blow painting, lacquer fans and so on. Students can personally participate in the production process, experience the charm of traditional handicrafts in an immersive way, feel the wisdom of the ancient Chinese people, and enhance their sense of identity and pride in traditional Chinese culture.
This event, integrating spring beauty and youth vitality, not only provided a platform for students to show themselves, but also made everyone feel the profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture in joy and practice. It has laid a solid foundation for students to inherit and carry forward excellent traditional Chinese culture, and let the youthful vitality and traditional charm bloom together.
