Living in Changzhou
Changzhou, located in the economically developed region of Eastern China, is part of the Shanghai Metropolitan Area, and is a close neighbour of Nanjing, the capital of the Six Dynasties, Suzhou, a newcomer to economic development with a long history, and Shanghai, a modern international metropolis that is the economic centre of the country. Convenient and well-developed transport networks connect these cities, which are only a few hundred kilometres away from each other, and can be interconnected within an hour by high-speed rail.

Changzhou’ history can be traced back as far as the Spring and Autumn Period/Warring States Period (770 BC–221 BC), and it boasts numerous scenic spots and cultural attractions. Such as the Spring and Autumn Drowning City Tourist Area, Qingguo Alley, the Ming City Wall in Xiyingli, the Ancient Canal and Tianning Temple. These buildings and relics, which have witnessed the passage of thousands of years, give people a deep impression of the unique charm of its profound historical heritage and attract tourists from all over the world.
