WASCZ, founded in 2012, is an oasis on the banks of West Tai Lake and stands as the first sister school of the century-old Wycombe Abbey in China. Seamlessly integrating the essence of Chinese culture with global educational excellence, it was honored with the title of “International School of the Year” by the Boarding Schools’ Association in 2022.

The school emphasis not only the cultivation of outstanding academic capabilities but also the enhancement of students’ core competencies and global perspectives. Through a comprehensive range of courses and activities, including over 20 musical instruments, 30 sports activities, and 10 school expeditions, students build a solid foundation for admission to world-renowned schools and lifelong development.

So far, all our graduates over the last ten years have been admitted to prestigious universities in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau. 35% of our graduates have gone on to study at the world’s top 25 universities (QS Rankings) to study a wide range of subjects and they have been accepted onto over 100 academic courses, covering science & technology, commerce & management, and the visual & performing arts. Destinations include Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, UCL, Edinburgh, Manchester, KCL, LSE, UCSD, NYU, Melbourne, Sydney, Toronto, and UBC, as well as the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, the Royal Northern College of Music, UAL and Parsons.
