STEM Laboratory

Home / STEM Laboratory

Students will participate in diverse thematic explorations and meaningful study trips. The curriculum covers information technology, computer science, engineering, design, physics, chemistry, biology, statistics, and mathematics. Students will engage in experiments, coding, speeches, debates, and field trips, including visits to leading enterprises. They will also have the opportunity to participate in tasks related to artificial intelligence system, digital design system, water quality detection system, food business system, and simulated flight system.

Interdisciplinary Perspectives: Focused on the Contextual Application of Science and Technology in Life Systems

Encompassing a Variety of Application Scenarios: Including Food Technology, Natural Phenomena, 3D Printing, Aerospace, Programming, Engineering, and Mathematics

Exploring Various Realms of Science and Technology: Covering AI, Lake Ecosystems, and the Intersection of Technology with Individual Life Forms

Field Trips to Prominent Institutions and Experts

Students will have the opportunity to dialogue with authoritative industry experts and gain an in-depth understanding of cutting-edge technologies and future development trends. At the same time, they will also visit leading technology service providers, take a field trip to observe innovative business operation models, experience first-hand the application and development of advanced technologies, get in touch with actual industry dynamics.

Collaborate on Projects with Experts

Students will participate in practical projects in specialised areas including artificial intelligence, digital design, water quality testing, etc. They will work with a team of experts, experience the practical application of cutting-edge technologies, and exercise innovative thinking and the ability to make multi-dimensional decisions in complex situations.

Engineering Design and Technology

Under the guidance of professional tutors, students will be involved in advanced research and experimental projects in the field of engineering design and technology, exploring cutting-edge topics in the field. Specialised mentors provide academic support and help students develop a systematic approach to research and practice, laying a solid foundation for future research or technological innovation.

Interactive Learning and Practical Application

Students will be involved in continuous interactive learning, undertaking practical research tasks, Including 3D printing, laser cutting and engraving, etc and conducting experimental observations, data collection and analysis, debates, seminars, visits to industry, etc., learning how to integrate knowledge from different disciplines and apply it to real-life situations.

Interdisciplinary knowledge integration and synthesis

In the practical learning in the field of engineering design and technology, students will also develop an interdisciplinary mindset by drawing on cutting-edge knowledge in fields such as information technology, computer science and bioscience, and learn how to effectively integrate multidisciplinary knowledge to solve complex academic and practical problems.
