Students Triumph at 2024 ASDAN Business Finals
From February 2nd to 7th 2024, two dynamic teams from Wycombe Abbey School Changzhou embarked on an unforgettable trip to Foshan, Guangdong. The aim of this adventure was not just to participate in an event; it was to achieve excellence at the prestigious 2024 All-Star ASDAN Business Simulation Finals. As part of the intense competition that drew over 200 top teams from across China, our students participated under the mentorship of their dedicated teachers, embodying the spirit of the mythical Phoenix, a symbol of transformation, rebirth, and resilience.
Our students leapt into the heart of this competition with determination and a desire to excel. Through a few sleepless nights and relentless teamwork, they navigated through rigorous rounds of business simulations, pitching their business ideas with unparalleled hard work and creativity. Their hard work paid off spectacularly as they clinched seven awards in the all-star finals, and some of them have qualified to compete in the championship round at Harvard University. This is a testament to their exceptional talent, preparation, and the high-quality education they received at WASCZ.
The triumph in Foshan is a proud moment for our school community, highlighting the excellence of our teaching staff and the potential of our students. It showcases our commitment to nurturing leaders of tomorrow, equipped not only with academic prowess but also with the practical skills and ethical grounding essential for success in the global arena.
As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, we also look forward to sharing the knowledge gained and the experiences gathered from this competition with our school community and the younger students for next year’s competition.
