Exploring Spain: A Dive into Culture, History, and Food
Our first stop was Madrid, the bustling capital, where we immersed ourselves in the city’s art scene. A highlight was the Museo de Arte Reina Sofia, home to iconic works like Picasso’s “La Guernica.” We also toured the Royal Palace, getting a glimpse into Spain’s royal past.
But Madrid wasn’t just about museums; we also explored its streets, visited landmarks like Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and El Retiro Park, and soaked in the city’s energy.
After Madrid, we headed to Tarragona for a language programme at the University Rovira i Virgili, where students got to experience authentic Spanish language and cuisine.
Our journey continued to Barcelona, where we admired the Cathedral of Nuestra Senora and explored Park Guell. And, of course, we couldn’t miss a visit to Camp Nou, the home of Barcelona’s soccer team.
Throughout our trip, we enjoyed a variety of Spanish dishes, from paella to churros, as well as international cuisine. Each meal was a celebration of Spain’s culinary diversity.
In conclusion, our trip to Spain was a memorable experience that allowed us to immerse ourselves in its culture, history, and cuisine. It was a journey filled with unforgettable moments and a newfound appreciation for the beauty of Spain.
