Wycombe Abbey, one of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious independent schools, together with its international partner BE Education and local development partner Wee Hur Holdings Limited, are pleased to announce a strategic partnership to establish Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore). This landmark initiative marks the brand’s expansion into Southeast Asia and reflects the shared commitment of all three parties to delivering world-class education in one of Asia’s most dynamic cities.

About Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore)

Opening in September 2028, Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore) will be a K–12 co-educational day school*, designed to cater to the individual strengths and aspirations of each student, underpinned by a strong belief that “Every Child Can Excel”. The campus will be situated on a prime site along Hougang Avenue 3, approximately 20 minutes’ drive from both the Central Business District and Changi Airport, offering convenient access for Singapore’s diverse international community.

Building on Wycombe Abbey’s century-old tradition of excellence, the Singapore campus will offer a distinctive educational experience that combines academic rigour with holistic development and a future‑proof approach to learning. The school is committed to preparing students not only for academic success but also for life beyond the classroom — nurturing curiosity, creativity, adaptability, perseverance, and teamwork through every aspect of school life.

While Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore) will be a day school, it will fully embody the quintessential elements of a traditional British boarding school. This includes a robust House System, a strong pastoral care framework, and an extended school day designed to support a broad and balanced programme. The school is set for a full opening in 2028 and will feature:

Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore) is the winner of the 2024 Request-for-Interest (RFI) launched by the Singapore Economic Development Board to introduce new capacity in the Foreign Systems Schools landscape. Success in this competitive exercise secures entry for Wycombe Abbey into Singapore’s well-established ecosystem of international schools.
